A Salute to the Prince of Darkness

War Pigs the custom chopper by KFM was created over a two year period as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. The owner and designer, Ken Mabee, collaborated with well known award-winning Canadian artist Vince Goodeve to create a truly unique lyrical interpretation of the Black Sabbath song “War Pigs”. This project was a joint effort of three very dark minds with endless amounts of talent, from the Tin man, the crew at FHM, and the crazy dark paint work by Vinnie from Goodeve Studio's.

The bike serves a physical representation of the themes and emotions portrayed in the early Black Sabbath rendition. Where war’s darkest elements are uncovered and hypocrisy reigns supreme in the ruling class. The custom chopper’s aggressive styling and powerful stance reflect the evil nature of Ozzy’s lyrics. Its mix of contrasting chrome and black powder coated components compliment Goodeve’s custom paint job which features politicians on puppet strings, demons and the fire and flames of war.

The motorcycle is an instant hit amongst true chopper fans, the evil undertones and the unique rock and roll styling serve as counter culture to most of the “shine and show” custom motorcycles born out of the over the top television sensationalism. In essence a return to the roots of what custom motorcycle culture was is in its purer days: bad bikes for bad boys. A motorcycle born out of evil and war inspired by one of the most enduring rock songs of all time. It is truly, the ultimate tribute by one artist to another.

KFM is looking forward to rocking all this season's bike shows across North America.
Check out this salute that we dedicate to the true prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne.
